Information you provide

Accounts store your name, email, hashed password, verification status, preferences, notification consent, event follows and contest entries. Paid membership records contain plan dates and an externally verified payment reference; this site does not collect card numbers. Press submissions include their content and review status. Contact messages store your name, reply email, subject, message and date.

Why we use it

We use these records to operate accounts, respond to inquiries, review submissions, administer memberships and requested event features, and send updates you opted into. Email notifications require a separate preference and verification. Contacting us does not add you to a mailing list.

Service providers and external content

Hosting and configured email services process data needed to operate the site. Source images, Google Fonts and YouTube content can connect your browser to their providers, which receive connection information such as your IP address. See our Cookies page. The application contains no analytics tracker, advertising pixel or sale-of-member-data feature. Our promotional links are labeled advertisements.

Security, logs and retention

Session cookies support sign-in and form security. Abuse protection stores a hashed IP-derived identifier and attempt counts. Hosting providers may keep access/security logs. Account information remains until deletion; contact records remain until the operator removes them when no longer needed. Backup and hosting retention depend on the deployed service configuration. We restrict the contact inbox and member administration to the owner login.

Your choices

You can change notification preferences, unsubscribe, export your account data or delete your account from the account area. Contact us for corrections, a copy or deletion of contact-form information, or other privacy requests. We may need to verify a request before releasing information. Applicable rights depend on your location. Do not use these forms to submit children’s personal information.
